What type of cards do you buy?
We buy licensed/authentic NBA, Soccer, NFL, MLB, AFL, NRL and Pokémon cards that are worth at least $5 each (not base cards). At this time, we are not buying other types of cards. In relation to AFL and NRL we only buy Select cards.
When can I come in to sell my cards?
Please come in during the week - we are usually too busy for buying on the weekends. The best days to come in are Tuesday or Wednesdays.
Can you (a) provide a valuation of my collection, (b) look at my cards and advise which ones I should get graded?
Unfortunately these are not services that we provide due to time constraints, as our busy staff need to stay focused on shipping orders and serving customers in-store.
How do I know the value of the cards?
We look at sold prices from eBay and other sources. We generally place a higher weight upon most recent sales and, to a lesser extent, prefer auction results over fixed price sales.
Will you definitely buy my cards?
No. The information above is not a promise or offer, just an indication of our general approach for indicative purposes. There may be circumstances where we do not wish to buy specific cards due to factors such as (a) product mix (for example if we have a lot of a specific player/product type), (b) condition of cards.
How many cards can I bring in for my appointment?
Your 30 minute appointment gives our staff enough time to price 20 cards.
Any more than that, you will need to book a separate appointment or leave your cards in our safe hands to price over a 24-48 hour period.
How much do you pay?
As a general rule we offer 70% cash / 80% store credit.
However, we may offer higher, at our discretion, for superstar players (Jordan, Kobe, Curry, Ohtani, Brady, Messi, Ronaldo, etc.) and graded cards.
